Felix Savón filmed searching for food in trash in Cuba
Felix Savón, three-time Olympic boxing champion from Cuba, was filmed searching for food in trash. According to some sources, Savón was released from prison about two years ago following a conviction for sexual offenses involving a minor. The images sparked outrage and reignited debate about the living conditions of former Cuban athletes.
Sources agree on the images and Olympic career, but only one reports the prior imprisonment for sexual offenses.
