Canelo Alvarez defeats Christian Mbilli and reclaims WBC super-middleweight title
Canelo Alvarez defeated Christian Mbilli via unanimous decision in Riyadh, reclaiming the WBC super-middleweight title. This was Alvarez's first fight since losing to Terence Crawford in September 2025. His trainer Eddy Reynoso explained how a return to old-school defense revived Canelo against Mbilli.
US press emphasizes the return to form and potential Crawford rematch, while Boxing News reports speculation about possible next opponents.
